Meet Eeyore:<br/><br/>Eeyore is our “special case” he has been with this rescue for coming up on 2 years. He was in a no kill shelter for almost 1 year so needless to say this boy has just not had luck on his side. Eeyore needs a special home in which a lot of families are not able to provide. Eeyore is extremely sweet and loves attention. He loves to go for car rides and get pup cups and just be with you all the time. Unfortunately since Eeyore has had such a hard life he resource guards. He will nip over anything he feels is valuable. He will easily trade his valuable item for a treat but would prefer things not be taken from him. Eeyore loves to show you his toys and punch you with them while in his mouth, but would prefer if you kept your paws off ? Eeyore loves to laze about on his sofa chair at Barking Lots Boarding & Daycare and is overall an extremely lazy boy. We are not sure on his age, the shelter vet stated he was around 2 years old but our rescues vet thinks he is much older. Eeyore can do well with other animals but again, will guard things and people he views as valuable from other dogs. He requires a home with experience on resource guarding and understands that he will require ongoing support with this.
