Edwinn's Story

Born approx. June 2020, Edwinn is a male Border Collie. He came to us afraid of the outside world and lacking confidence. He has made marked improvements in his foster home and is now ready to find his forever family. Edwinn is potty and crate trained. He is happiest when he is with his people and other dogs, for this reason, we will require Edwinn goes to a home with another confident dog to continue giving him guidance and reassurance. We also are seeking a cat free home for him. Edwinn's forever home must have a secure 6 foot fence and one that will keep him active and mentally stimulated, breed experience is a huge bonus. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
