Edward's Story
Sweet Edward is still searching for his forever home! At almost 14 weeks old, he's had a little growth spurt and now weighs 20 lbs. Edward loves other dogs and does an excellent job adjusting his play style to match his canine friends. He will need a forever home with another playful pup who also enjoys a good snuggle session. While he loves cuddling with other dogs, he's just as happy curling up with his foster family. He is the best snuggler! He is very food motivated and already knows how to kennel on command, as well as sit and lay down. He's still having the occasional potty accident, but he's making great progress and is doing an awesome job ringing the potty bells to let his foster family know when he needs to go out. According to Wisdom Panel, Edward is a Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull mix and is estimated to weigh between 46–77 pounds when fully grown. If you're interested in adopting Edward, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his breed mix, we will not be placing him in an apartment.

*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.

*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck

*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee

Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
