Meet Edna
“No capes!” - Edna Mode, The Incredibles (2004)
Welcome Edna! Like her namesake, she’s got lots of personality in her squat body. Edna is about 11 months old, and currently weighs 43 pounds. We think she’ll stay around this weight, staying just under 50 pounds once she fills out a little bit more.
Edna is potty trained! She’s good about signalling when she needs to go out so she stays accident free. Edna is also kennel trained! She will happily go into her kennel for food - you might even find her hiding out in her kennel in the hopes that you’ll give her a treat!
Edna loves to play with other dogs, especially if she can jump around and really use her paws with them! However, Edna understands that not all dogs like to play that way, and can change her play style to match her canine-friends. Edna has also recently met cats. For the most part, she just ignores them. When she accidently gets too close and the cat gives her a warning swat, she runs away pouting--it’s adorable.
Edna is happiest when she is spending time with friends. Whether that's running around the yard with her canine-buddy or going to the dog park to play. Want to go for an adventure? Edna will be there! Need a day to relax Edna is also a big fan of laying down with a good chew toy! At the end if the day she likes curling up in the dog bed or next to Foster Mom for some snuggles on the couch.

To ensure our dogs are placed in a safe environment, we require a home visit for all adoptions. Because of this, we typically only adopt to homes within 30 minutes of Athens, GA. If you are further away than that and are interested in one of our pups, please still fill out an application and we can discuss your options. Please understand that you would be responsible for all transportation - meeting the dog, picking the dog up to start a trial, returning the dog should he/she not be a good fit, etc. Please visit our website for more info.
