Some friendships are chosen… and some are absolutely non-negotiable. <br/>Meet Edison and Piper, a bonded duo who have made it very clear they are a package deal.<br/><br/>Edison is a 1-year-old, 12-pound Poodle mix (our groomer suspects a ShiPoo), and his tiny shadow is Piper, a 12-week-old puppy weighing just 5.9 pounds. We’re not sure what makes up Piper’s DNA, but we do know she should be less than 20 pounds when full grown and is under Edison’s supervision at all times. <br/><br/>These two came into rescue when their owners were moving and couldn’t take them along. It’s a big change, and both Edison and Piper are still finding their footing in a new world. Both are very shy, but each day in their foster home you can see them gaining a little more confidence… especially because they have each other.<br/><br/>Where Edison goes, Piper follows. Where Piper goes, Edison keeps watch. They move through life like a tiny, fluffy parade of two. The sleep together, cuddle together, and play together. <br/><br/>Edison is doing well with house training. Piper has decided that whatever Edison does is a great idea, so she happily follows him right outside like his little apprentice. Both dogs do well with other dogs and would benefit from a home that is patient, gentle, and willing to let them continue to come out of their shells at their own pace.<br/><br/>They will require a physically fenced yard, as it gives them a safe space to explore, build confidence, and practice their “follow the leader” routine.<br/><br/>Edison and Piper aren’t looking for just any home… they’re looking for one that understands that the best things sometimes come in pairs. They rely on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship, and separating them simply isn’t an option.<br/><br/>If you have room in your heart and your home for two shy little souls who will grow together, you’ll be rewarded with double the love, double the sweetness, and double the tiny footsteps following you around.<br/><br/>Edison is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
