We’re not sure—but we do know he’s 100% handsome and 100% lovable. Edison loves an active lifestyle - he's always up for a game of chase in the yard and absolutely adores swimming. Whether it's a lake, pool, or even a kiddie pool on a hot day, this water-loving pup is in his element. But don't worry, he's not all energy all the time. Edison is also a world-class cuddler who will happily snuggle up with you on the couch after a day of adventures. This social butterfly gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to multi-pet households. Fair warning though - Edison is a bit of a sneaky snack bandit! Keep your treats up high, because this clever boy has mastered the art of counter surfing and treat theft. It's all part of his charm! Big Love Rescue's Adoption Policy

All adoptions through Big Love Rescue require a completed application, a vet check, a home check, and a finalized adoption contract. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis — instead, we match each dog with the home that best fits their unique needs. To apply, please complete our adoption application at www.bigloverescue.org or use the link below. Once your application is approved, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet. Please note: we are a foster-based rescue, not a shelter. All of our dogs live in individual foster homes, so we do not have a facility where you can stop by to meet them. *Out-of-State Adoptions* A transportation fee of $300 is required in addition to the adoption fee. This fee covers the cost of professional transport and the USDA-required health certificate for interstate travel. Please note: Dogs are adopted into their forever homes before transport. In-person meetings are not possible, but we’re happy to arrange FaceTime, Zoom, and phone calls with the foster family so you can get to know your future pet.
