***UPDATED 9/25***<br/><br/>Eddie is a petite, chocolate-and-white, approximately 10 month-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing about 33 pounds — and he is an absolute love.<br/><br/>Once Eddie decides you’re his person, get ready for the full-body wiggles. He loves to flop down, roll over and work his way into your lap. He would happily become a professional cuddlebug!<br/><br/>For such a young dog, Eddie shows an impressive amount of maturity. He’s gentle, submissive and incredibly eager to please. He consistently looks to the people he trusts for guidance, pays attention to even subtle cues, and settles down quickly after play. He’s the kind of dog who takes beautifully to training because he genuinely wants to understand what you’re asking of him.<br/><br/>Eddie is already crate trained and potty trained, knows sit, comes when called, and walks nicely on a leash. He’ll even put himself in his crate for a nap! He’s well behaved in the house, enjoys appropriate chew toys and treats, and isn’t a big barker or licker.<br/><br/>He LOVES playing with both people and other dogs. Eddie is still building his confidence, and we think a calm, playful, and confident canine companion could be wonderful for him.<br/><br/>Eddie is currently fostered with three children. Kids and their unpredictable antics are still a little new to him, so he can occasionally be unsure and surprised by them. He would benefit from continued positive exposure and a family that will help him build confidence at his own pace.<br/><br/>Eddie has also been non-reactive to wildlife on walks and even to a barn cat he met.<br/><br/>This sweet, sensitive little guy has so much going for him: he’s affectionate, playful, attentive, smart and eager to please.
