Ed Sheeran's Story

Meet Ed Sheeren "Eddie"

2-year-old Pomeranian mix 13 pounds Professional lap warmer

Say hello to Ed Sheeren, better known as Eddie-a 2-year-old, 13-pound Pomeranian mix with a big personality, a brave little heart, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. Eddie had an old injury that required an amputation of his back left leg. He has healed beautifully and is hopping around like nobody's business. He is playing again which is both adorable and inspiring. Sometimes he grabs a toy, gives it a proud little shake, loses his balance, flops over, lets out a quick yelp of surprise, and then gets right back up like nothing happened. Eddie is resilient, determined, and just a little dramatic, which only adds to his charm.

Eddie loves to sleep in, lounge like royalty, and settle in for quality lap time whenever a lap is available. He gives kisses generously, but he is not the biggest fan of getting kisses - he is more of a "I give the kisses around here" kind of guy. He is doing great with the other dogs in his foster home, although he does seem to prefer some more than others. Eddie has not been around any children but we do know that he loves his people, just unsure about "little people."

Our little Eddie is looking for a family who will see the brave, funny, loving little dog he is. Eddie is a bit of a quirky fella and will need a family who can love him as he is, be patient with him, and celebrate his brave little steps forward. If you are looking for a sweet companion with a hilarious personality, a strong spirit, and a serious appreciation for naps and laps, Eddie may be your perfect match.

Friends of Faye's Adoption Policy
We do require most of our adopters to have securely fenced yards. However, some of our dogs may be considered for homes with smaller enclosures (i.e. secure patios) and we do occasionally adopt to apartment-style homes or homes without fenced yards. All applicants are considered on a case by case basis and selection of dogs appropriate for these homes is often limited. Puppies will not be adopted to homes where they will be left alone for too many consecutive hours on a regular basis. All dogs will be primarily inside dogs living as members of their family – no dogs will live strictly outside or in garages. No dog will be kept on a chain at any time, for any reason. All dogs will be provided with adequate fresh food and water, clean, dry shelter when outside, and daily exercise. All dogs will be provided a safe collar with ID tags to be worn at all times. All adoptive families will obey all applicable laws governing control and custody of animals. All adoptive families will provide medical care as prescribed by their veterinarian including but not limited to; yearly exams, HEARTWORM PREVENTION, vaccinations and unscheduled treatment for any illness/injury. All dogs will be adopted only as a personal companion and not as a gift, working animal or guard dog. All dogs will be returned to Friends of Faye should it be necessary to find another home for the dog. No dog will be given away for any reason at any point in their lives. Friends of Faye assumes no responsibility nor shall they be held liable for any damages caused by the adopted animal to property, person or other pets. If any medical problems occur after adoption, Friends of Faye is not liable for medical bills. If you have other pets, they must be spayed or neutered if you adopt from Friends of Faye. As well, your other pets must be up to date on all vaccines and heartworm prevention. To help ensure that we place our dogs in loving, responsible, and committed homes, we have an application and screening process. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.
