ED's Story
Meet Ed, a 7 year old pomsky (Pomeranian with a Siberian Husky mix)! Ed spent his first years in a commercial breeding facility, where he was not getting the care and socialization he needed to thrive. As he's started to explore and learn more about the world, Ed has shown us that he's a gentle pup who can be worried in busy or new environments, but that he loves playing with toys and going on sniffy walks! Ed is looking for an adopter that can continue to help him make progress with his training and manners using positive reinforcement methods, while ensuring that he is an active participant in everything that's happening to him (petting, play, putting on or taking off walking equipment, etc). He would do best in a low-traffic home, where there won't be a lot of new people coming and going, and where he can set the pace of how fast or slow he is making progress. Ed is a sweet lil guy that shows his love with tail wags and silly play bows, and given the support and care he needs, he's sure to bring a lot of joy to your home! Ed is currently being treated for heartworm, which might sound intimidating, but we promise it's not scary! Our staff is ready to get you up to speed on his current routine. He needs to stay chill and relaxed during his treatment, and would love some toys, snacks, or other fun things to work on while he settles into his new home.
