Because of that story she arrived scared, skittish, but awesome.

She was part of an oops litter. At seven weeks old on Christmas day the owner was going to go and dump the litter. A kind soul caught wind and ran out and got the litter. He was able to rehome all but two, He tried for two months and nothing. Because of space issues the girls slept in a garage only being allowed out a few times a day.

I received the call for help with placing the last two girls and I took them in. They arrived super shy, and skittish.

But the rumor was out I had GS puppies and visitor after visitor arrived at my gate and sister was quickly adopted after her spay of course. This allowed Echo to settle in and gain confidence.

She gets along with all dogs here (she has ignored cats), she can now enter and exit a house, she will now run up to us and wants pets and love, her favorite thing to do is to run up to us, flip over and want belly rubs. We have started to take walks and she is going well with a leash, of course she needs more work but she does walk. She is crate trained and has never peed in the house. She loves the couch and she loves running wild outside with the other dogs.

Echo would do great with another dog in the house. To keep the growth going. She needs someone to understand it may take her a month to settle in. Someone who understands she needs a routine. Someone who understands right now when she gets overwhelmed will need access to her kennel.

Echo is now 5 months old, spayed, vaccines, and a microchip. I believe Echo is a German Shepherd/Herding dog mix. She is not full GS so I don't suspect she will be a super big dog.

Adoption fee is $300 dollars.

An approved application and an appointment is required.

If interested in meeting Echo, please submit an application by copying/pasting this link into your browser: She is located in Rochester, WA

https://rescueaware.com/application.asp?c=12001
