And while he may come with a working-dog résumé, the best thing about Surrey is something you cannot teach: a genuinely good temperament.<br/><br/>Like many intelligent, active breeds, Surrey will do best with a family who has the time to keep his mind and body busy. He arrived at the shelter after being found galivanting around town, but now that he has gotten that little adventure out of his system, he seems more than ready to settle into family life.<br/><br/>Surrey has met children here at the shelter and appeared very comfortable around the littles. He has also done well with other dogs.
