Echo's Story

Echo is a beautiful blue and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, who is a happy go lucky boy;He is deaf, but is learning sign language in his foster home, and would benefit greatly from extended learning in his forever home. We believe that Echo lost his hearing due to severe ear infections that went untreated, and subsequently permanently damaging his ear drums. He is quite the people pleaser which has made his training easy, but needs a home that understands his impairment and who is willing to exercise extreme patience while going through his transition from from foster care to his forever home; Echo does well with other dogs, but is learning to be not quite so dominant with other male dogs. Right now, he should be in a dog only home, as cats are too tempting for him not to chase. ;Our Vet believes that Echo was possibly used as a bait dog. He has a tremendous amount of scarring all over his body from bite wounds, and when he came to us he had a raging skin infection that has since healed. ;Echo deserves a life of consistency, love and patience, and would make a great addition to a family who is willing to offer him these things.
All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
His adoption fee is $175 If you are interested in learning more about our dogs and organization, or want to join the MVPC family, please visit www.miamivalleypitcrew.com
All inquiries begin with an adoption application.
