Echo's Story
This is a heartbreaking story with a hopeful future. We rescued Echo from an extremely neglected life. He was severely emaciated, weighing only 34 pounds, in horrific body condition. With love, care and nutrition, Echo's slow transformation is exciting to see! He shows incredible resilience and sweetness. It's amazing how much love he has for people, when it was people who failed him.

Echo will need a patient home to help him recover and gain trust. We are not sure yet if he can be with another dog with slow introductions, but it may be possible. Absolutely no cats! He loves toys now that he's learned what they are. He is potty trained and will give a little whine when he needs to go outside. He's learning to walk well on a leash most times, but sometimes pulls, and he is a strong boy.

Echo loves, Loves, LOVES to go for rides! He looks at the door every time we walk by and will jump right in if you open it. He is such an excellent and polite passenger! He would be a trucker's best buddy if he had it his way. Fair warning...just don't leave any snacks accessible. He came from a situation where food was scarce, so he likes to help himself with anything available.

He thinks he's a lap dog, so be prepared for lots of love coming your way! He is very content to lay beside you while resting as much of himself as he can get on your lap. We are looking for the right person or family that has the patience and love to turn his heartbreaking start into a heartwarming life! If you are looking for a loving companion, Echo is it!
