Ebby (Huliee)'s Story
Meet Ebby -- a sweet, funny little lady with plenty of personality to spare. Ebby is 12 years old and about 10 lbs.

She's a pretty laid-back girl who loves relaxing on the couch or curling up on the bed with her person, but when you come home she gets so excited that she'll run around the house to celebrate. People are often surprised when they hear her age because she still has that playful little spark.

Ebby definitely enjoys feeling like the most important dog in the house. She does fine with other dogs, but she would likely be happiest as the only dog or in a home with very calm pups who are happy to do their own thing. Funny enough, she actually seems to prefer hanging out with the cat over the other dogs!

She isn't much of a toy girl, but she loves being around her people and enjoys relaxed walks.
Ebby is the kind of dog who just wants to be your little companion throughout the day. She also does very well when left alone! If you're at work, she's perfectly happy to nap and wait for you to come home.

She does have a heart murmur that requires a daily medication. Ebby has undergone mammary tumor removals and is overall doing well, but unfortunatley they continue to reappear. Due to this, she is currently considered a hospice foster.

While Ebby is considered hospice, the truth is that we don't know how much time she has left -- it could be months or even years. What we do know is that being labeled hospice doesn't mean she deserves any less of a forever home. Ebby deserves a family who will love her, spoil her, and give her the comfort and companionship every dog deserves.
If you're looking for a sweet, loyal little companion to share your home and your heart, Ebby might just be your girl. 🐾💗To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

https://longwayhome.org/apply

❤
Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
