Tuffy & Mikey Our Story (Straight from Us!)<br/><br/>Hi there... were Tuffy and Mikey. Two hearts, four paws, and one very strong bond.<br/><br/>Life has taken us on quite the journey, and through every twist and turn, we've always had one thing we could count on... each other. When we first arrived at the rescue, we were a little unsure of everything around us. New place, new smells, new people... it was a lot. But whenever things felt scary, we just stayed close because together, were brave.<br/><br/>If Tuffy takes a step forward, Mikey's right there behind him.<br/>If Mikey curls up for a nap, Tuffy makes sure to snuggle in close.<br/>That's just how we are... a team.<br/><br/>These past couple of months have been pretty amazing, though. Were starting to realize something really important life can be soft, warm, and full of love.<br/>We've discovered a few of our favorite things:<br/><br/>Gentle pets and kind voices (we melt a little every time)<br/>Following our foster mom around like her tiny, well-coordinated shadow duo<br/>Cozy naps... preferably close enough to touch<br/><br/>We're about 8 years old, which we think is the perfect age - old enough to know how good naps are, young enough to still enjoy the little things. Tuffy is on what they call a tiny weight loss journey (he says he prefers the term fluffy management plan), but otherwise, were both in great health.<br/><br/>Oh and did you see us after our grooming? Because WOW.<br/><br/>We went from a little rough around the edges to who are those handsome boys?! practically overnight. Soft, shiny, and feeling pretty proud, if were being honest.<br/>We've had all our vet care taken care of too-vaccines, dentals, the whole works-so were ready for what comes next. What we really want... is a home.<br/>A calm, cozy place where we can stay together (that part is very important to us).
