Dylan (fka Devlin)'s Story
Meet Dylan!

Some dogs spend their lives searching for the place they truly belong. Dylan is one of them.

For most of his life, Dylan didnt know love, comfort or what it meant to be family but in 2022, his future looked brighter when he was rescued from a heartbreaking confiscation case in Alabama. After arriving in WI and spending a short time in a foster home, Dylan got his second change and was adopted into a loving home where he has spent the last four years learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished. Now, through no fault of his own, he finds himself looking for a family once again after his adopter's declining health and financial hardships have caused his return to rescue.

Dylan is a 7-year-old 35-pound mixed breed with a scruffy wire-haired coat, soulful eyes, and the most expressive eyebrows you've ever seen. He can be shy with new people and needs a little extra time to trust, but once you've earned his heart, you'll have a loyal best friend for life. Belly rubs are his favorite thing in the world, and before long, he'll be curled up beside you on the couch giving you those irresistible puppy-dog eyes.

His favorite pastime is carrying one of his beloved squishy toys into the backyard, where he'll sniff around, explore, and eventually settle beneath a shady tree for a peaceful nap. Loud noises and busy environments can still make him nervous, so Dylan would thrive in a calm, patient home with no children where he can continue to blossom at his own pace.

Dylan is good with other dogs and cats but would do best in a home without children.

Dylan has already survived more uncertainty than any dog should have to. All he's asking for now is someone who will promise that this next goodbye is his last—and that his forever home truly lasts forever.

Dylan is available for adoption through Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Adoption fee is $350. Visit www.mapawsmepetrescue.com to apply.

Interested in meeting Dylan?

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

The adoption fee is listed here: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

*Please note that the identified breed(s) are best guesses. We very rarely have information on our dogs' actual breeds since they often come to the shelters we work with as strays.
