He used to live with a big dog who was very patient, gentle and tolerated his rough-housing well. We think Dutch would do well in a home with another dog, particularly one with a smaller dog who loves to play and/or a larger dog who has a high energy level and patience for Dutch's rough playing. When he came into foster care, he wasn't house trained at all but he's done very well learning in the small area he's staying in. His new owner would need to continue working on house training, but Dutch is very smart and responsive so it shouldn't take much time for him to learn the rules. He's great with kids, is crate trained and loves to cuddle.
