Say hello to Dutch — a sweet, soulful 8-year-old, 60 lb. Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound mix who is so ready for his next chapter.<br/><br/>Dutch came to us from the Clinton, Missouri Animal Shelter after quite the journey. He was found as a stray in May and tested heartworm positive. Thankfully, he was placed in a temporary foster home where he bravely completed heartworm treatment — a long and uncomfortable process — and we’re happy to report that Dutch is now heartworm negative.<br/><br/>When the shelter found itself overcrowded with no room for him to return, Imagine FURever Ranch stepped in to give Dutch the safe landing he deserved.<br/><br/>Dutch is a wonderful dog who loves affection and truly just wants to be loved in return. Like many dogs who’ve experienced a lot of change, he’s still adjusting to life at the Ranch.
