Dunks's Story

Dunks is a female Shepherd/Husky mix born on 1/1/2026 and will be arriving in Massachusetts on 5/20/2026. She is currently about 30 lbs as of 5/4/2026 and is expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. At just over 4 months old, she has the typical energy, curiosity, and playfulness of a young Shepherd/Husky puppy.

At this stage, Dunks is still learning everything about the world around her and will benefit from a home that can provide structure, patience, and consistency. Like all young puppies, she will need guidance with crate training, house training, leash skills, and basic manners. She is at a great age to build strong routines and positive habits with the right support.

With proper introductions and supervision, she is young enough to adapt well to living with other dogs, cats, and children. Shepherd and Husky mixes are known for being intelligent and active, so Dunks will do best in a home that is prepared for both the physical and mental needs of this type of breed mix. Continued training, enrichment, and regular exercise will be important as she grows.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.

For more information, visit our website: https://buddyandfriendsma.org
To be considered, an application must be submitted at: https://buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt
MA License Number: 52
