Duncan-Long Timer Special's Story

Meet Duncan! He’s a 1.5-2-year-old Lab/Pitbull Terrier mix (as our best guess). He was a stray so much of his background is unknown. He came to us emaciated and in need of some extra TLC. In his time with us, we’ve learned lots of about him, though. He has been with us since November of 2025. He’s a smart dog that would excel with extra training but, he is overall a very well-mannered boy outside of his kennel. He is a medium-to-high energy dog. He appears to be potty trained to some extent, and we don’t doubt that in a home, he’ll learn the routine quickly. He knows basic cues such as sit, stay, down, shake, and he understands recall with his name. Because he’s so young and has spent much of his life in our facility so far, he will need a home ready to do the work and training to teach him how to be a dog. But he is a wonderful dog with lots of love to give.

We have not tested Duncan with cats and if you have dogs in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines.
