Duncan's Story

Age: Approximately 2 years old
Weight: 9.8 lbs
Dog friendly: yes, REQUIRES one in the home
Cat friendly: yes
Kid friendly: yes, with older/considerate kids Potty trained: very close, but still has a few accidents
Crate trained: yes, doesn't well when left alone

Meet Duncan! Duncan is a sweet little guy with a heart of gold. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, toys, and people he knows. This smart pup picks up on new routines and commands quickly. In fact, he figured out most of the treat puzzles at his foster mom's home on his first try! Duncan is a great traveler and does well in the car. He is already crate-trained and is making excellent progress with potty training. He really enjoys running around the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, but because he spooks easily, he needs a home with a fenced-in yard where he can feel safe. Duncan came from a difficult situation where he was abandoned, so he gets scared in new environments and around unfamiliar people. However, he warms up very quickly. As long as he has a safe place to hide for a bit, he'll soon come up to you for pets and belly rubs. Having another dog around helps Duncan feel secure and builds his confidence, so he requires a canine companion in his new home. All he needs is a family willing to give him a little bit of time to feel safe, and in return, he'll reward you with kisses and a rousing game of tug-of-war. Are you the family that can give Duncan the loving home he deserves?

Adoption Fee: $495
