Duncan's Story
Name: Duncan
Age: 5-6 years
Weight: 43.4 lbs lbs

Sweet tripod DUNCAN was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico in really awful shape. He had a serious leg injury, and our vet determined amputation was the best course of action to give him his life back - a life without pain. As soon as he was up on his feet again after the surgery, he was like a whole new dog with almost puppy-like spirit!

Having only three legs doesn't hold Duncan back from living a full wonderful, life. Our staff reports that Duncan is a very good boy who is so grateful for the second chance he's been given. He is very friendly with our staff and loves to learn skills (he already knows sit!), play with toys, and receive pets and affection. He is okay with other dogs but would do best in a home with no cats!

We aim to fly Duncan to the NJ tri-state area on February 19th, so get your application in for this perfect sato today!

To Adopt:
Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform.
Questions?
Email us at adoption@thesatoproject.org

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
