Eat, sleep, play, sleep, snacks, sleep. Not to brag, but I've been told I am a low maintenance gal so far. Don’t get me wrong, I have my moments; My natural curiosity about the objects around me, putting things in my mouth that were not intended for me? Snuggles? Cuddles? Yes please. If there was a doggy Olympics, I would win the Gold medal for napping. Indeed, I would certainly win a second medal for snoring. It's epic. I am learning some good stuff from my foster sisters. I can go up and down stairs, I walk pretty well on a leash. I know when mealtime is and I am happy to go to bed now that the foster parents let me sleep with them. Foster mom says I could lose a little weight (hmph to body shaming!) that may help with my snoring and activity level.<br/><br/>And now, a few words from my foster mom:<br/><br/>After making puppies her whole life, Dumpling is now taking a rest. I mean, she sleeps almost all the time! Are you looking for a sweet, co-dependant pet who will never leave you alone but also doesn't listen to anything you tell her? Dumpling is a champion napper and maximum decibel snorer. She is a sweet, curious, loving, low activity dog who just wants to spend time with you. A couple times a day she will run around the house, inspecting things, looking for trouble, grabbing a dog toy, have a drink water and then plop herself back down on the couch or a dog bed where she goes back to snoring. Dumpling prefers to be near her person and she will need a stable companion dog in the home to continue gaining confidence and learning the ropes. Dumpling is not potty trained yet, but we are working on it. A fenced yard is needed to keep up the routine of getting her outside frequently. Dumpling is sweet and funny. She knows just what she wants and will bark a little to let you know if she is displeased (like being put in a crate or you leaving the room without her) If you are looking for a slightly spunky, mostly sleepy, snoring, cuddle bunny, Dumpling may be the one for you!
