TY!<br/><br/>Mama Demi and her kids Dudley and Dumplin had a REALLY rough start in life. <br/><br/>Demi was dropped as a stray in a rural area to fend for herself-- no one took her in. She got pregnant right away and had to fend for herself. One puppy, Darcy, stuck around and followed her mom everywhere.<br/><br/>At some point Demi was hit by a car and suffered a broken leg. Sadly, it doesn't stop there. <br/><br/>Fast forward to Demi's next pregnancy... She delivered under an older man's home. He was unable to care for himself, the stray dogs, and stray cats. Thankfully, his caretaker made sure they were all fed... but didn't have the means to get them to the vet for spaying and neutering.<br/><br/>After hearing about them, we came up with a plan and headed to save this little family. <br/><br/>When we arrived, we realized just how far these guys were "under the house"... they were at the farthest point, under the enclosed brick porch.<br/><br/>I knew I couldn't climb in and out to save these puppies. I asked a neighbor if she knew of any kids wanting to make a little cash to climb under the house to bring these puppies to safety. She called her sons, and in an hour they were there and ready to collect some puppies for me!<br/><br/>I sent in the two teen boys with a pet taxi. I heard one say, "don't you growl at me!" Ha!<br/><br/>The puppies had never seen humans before! They had also never seen light. The boys collected all four pups, made sure they weren't leaving any behind, and climbed out with cobwebs all over them. <br/><br/>Mama Demi, daughter Darcy, and now 4 puppies were all loaded in the car and ready to head back to our Adoption Center.<br/><br/>Over the last three months, they have all thrived and made friends!<br/><br/>They are so sweet, social, and funny!<br/>They were born apprx July 15, 2025<br/><br/>To adopt one of these movie-stars, please email us with your PHONE NUMBER.<br/><br/>Mama Demi is an adorable small min pin!
