Duke, Mellow Big Fella - Needs Adopter or Foster (Courtesy Listing)

Duke is a very sweet, mellow purebred Cane Corso Mastiff, male, intact, about 9 years old, 125 pounds, and fawn with a black mask and muzzle. whose Daddy passed away. His first Daddy had to move, so he was rehomed a few years ago by that owner. Duke’s most recent daddy passed away, so he is again looking for a home. He needs a stable foster or loving adopter very soon!<br/><br/>He is very lovable, gentle, and well-mannered for such a big, strong dog. He thinks he’s a lap dog and doesn’t realize he’s going to squish you. He loves his walks but also enjoys lounging around, watching TV, monitoring what’s going on outside through the window, and when it’s warmer, lounging outside. In winter, he insists he needs a coat to go outside for any length of time. He loves the doggie park and is just a good, obedient dog. <br/><br/>He has had a male owner all his life, but certainly fell in love with females and kids (probably older kids just due to his sheer size and strength). He is not an alpha dog, nor at all aggressive. He got along famously with his “sister from another mother,” a Malamute, who stole his bed and definitely bossed him around.
