You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Duke is about 8 years old and 50 lbs., found as a stray in rural NC. He is a beautiful leash walker, wonderful in the car, is housetrained and would be a great hiking companion for someone! Duke is very affectionate and happy. He enjoys his family and, although he loves to be outdoors, he also enjoys a soft bed! Duke has very manageable resource guarding in a home environment- so will need an experienced adopter and a child-free home. Which is a shame because he loves children and is very gentle with them. He can go anywhere with you as he is very friendly and fun and is good with cats too! Duke would do best with another dog or dogs in a home with a fenced-in yard. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. NJ South Hills Pet Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy

Submit an application if you are ready to adopt or ask questions about the pet you like. We REQUIRE a home visit so only place pets within 90 MINUTES of Chester NJ. Once you submit your application you will be contacted within 3-5 days to coordinate the next step to finding your perfect family member. Adult dog adoption fee is $425 and Seniors 9 yrs older $225. All dogs are FULLY vetted by a licensed veterinarian; spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and receive vaccinations: Rabies - Distemper - Bordetella - Leptospirosis Puppy adoption fee is $450 (up to 6 months/Lg breeds up to 10 months) - and include age appropriate vaccines and spay/neuter Cat adoption fee is $150 and our kittens are $175. They are tested for FELV and FIV, receive core vaccines, rabies, FVRCP and are dewormed. All cats are spayed/neutered and micro-chipped.
