Thru no fault of his own, this "Old Man" (Duke) has been surrendered to us to help find another family.

At almost 9 years old, this gentleman still has a spring in his step and is a very VOCAL guy (especially when we don't get him out the door fast enough for his potty walk!!!)

Our volunteers love his spunk and his energy and would love to find him a family that will help us out by not only taking him into their home, but take on his heartworm treatments (he tested positive 2 days after he was surrendered).

Serious inquiries will be considered; unfortunately, we cannot foster due to policy and insurance reasons.

He is up to date on his vaccinations; is currently on meds for his diagnosis, and his new owner will need to follow the vet's recommended scheduling for his continued care (including a neutering in the future).

**It is important to note that we were informed that he had been also diagnosed with Megaesophagus; a condition that the previous owner said he hadn't had issues
