The transition was heartbreaking for him, and he arrived scared and unsure but he wasn't alone. There, he met best friend Mayzee and this hard time became more manageable. I decided they needed to come into rescue together, because sometimes the hardest parts of life are easier when you don't have to face them alone.<br/><br/>Duke has since proven himself to be an absolute dream of a dog, a true gentle giant with a calm, steady nature and a loyal heart.
