Meet Duke! He is a 1–2-year-old Pitbull Terrier that came to us in April of 2026. When he first arrived, he had noticeable hair loss just above the base of his tail. It has started to grow back in normally and is not a medical concern for him at this point. Duke is an incredibly smart and well-behaved dog. He does well on leash and is potty trained. He also knows “sit” and loves to give his paw for a handshake. He’s food motivated so if you’d like to train him to learn other cues, he will do well with it!<br/><br/>We have not tested Duke with other dogs and we’re not sure how he feels about cats or kids. If you have a dog in your home, we will require a meet and greet prior to adoption. Please fill out an application on our website to meet Duke!
