Duke is a handsome 5-year-old purebred Labrador Retriever who embodies everything people love about the breed. He loves the water, never turns down a game of fetch, and has a friendly, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around.<br/><br/>Duke arrived in rescue with his sister, Daisy, after their family was no longer able to care for them. They've spent their lives together and would make an incredible pair, but they don't have to be adopted together if the right homes come along.<br/><br/>Duke has great house manners, gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and is looking for a family that will appreciate a mature, well-behaved Lab who still has plenty of enthusiasm for life's adventures. Puget Sound Rescue's Adoption Policy

We require an adoption application be filled out so we can judge your ability to care for dogs with special needs. All of our dogs are fixed and have up to date shots. Most of our dogs are microchipped. We adopt family dogs that are going to be indoor. Sometimes we will get dogs that can be trained to become work dogs but that isn't our mission.
