Hi, I'm Duke, a 24-pound Shepherd mix with a sweet personality and a whole lot of fun packed into my little body! <br/><br/>I'm a calm and well-mannered guy when I'm out on a leash, but I also love getting out and exploring the world around me. Water is one of my favorite things, and I absolutely love playing fetch-especially when a tennis ball is involved! I'm very interactive with people and enjoy spending time with my humans. Whether I'm running, jumping, climbing, or just wandering around checking everything out, I'm happiest when I'm able to stay active and have something fun to do. <br/><br/>I also do very well when meeting and interacting with other dogs, and I think I'd really enjoy having a canine companion in my new home. My favorite things in life are playing fetch and getting treats, so if you have a tennis ball and a few tasty snacks, you may already have the key to my heart! Even though I'm playful and energetic, I'm also incredibly gentle when taking treats from your hand. I'm a sweet, affectionate, adventurous boy who is ready to find a family that will keep me active, let me explore, and enjoy plenty of fun and games with me.<br/><br/>My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.<br/><br/>All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.<br/><br/>Happy Adopting!
