Duke’s journey started at the Kerr County shelter, where he was slated for euthanasia. Thanks to a foster stepping up, he took his freedom ride, immediately made himself at home, and has been thriving in foster care. WorkDog Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We have an application that adopters will complete, then app processors thoroughly go through the app. Veterinarians are contacted to make sure all animals in the homes are spayed/neutered, UTD and on preventatives. We require pictures and videos of the home or a video call if a home visit cannot be done. We make sure there's no criminal history and that all adopters have a person that will take their dog in case of emergency
