DUGGER's Story
Dugger is a 2-year-old Catahoula/Husky mix.

Dugger is still learning about the world, especially when it comes to being on a leash. He shows some sensitivity to leash pressure and may freeze or try to mouth the leash when he’s unsure, but he does much better with a loose leash and will happily follow along. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he’s already showing progress and gaining confidence.

Outside of the kennel, Dugger can be a bit timid at first, but he warms up as he gets comfortable. He has done well meeting other dogs, even tolerating very energetic playmates without reacting negatively. While he may not always match their energy, he seems to enjoy having canine companions, so a dog-to-dog meet is recommended to ensure a good fit.
