Meet Duffy!<br/><br/>Duffy is a 17-pound Jack Russell/Yorkie mix with a heart of gold—and lots to say! This sweet little guy loves attention, affection, and being around his people. He loves to play with his humans and his toys, and he’s always ready to let you know what he’s thinking.<br/><br/>Duffy does have some special needs that his future family will need to be prepared for. He was recently diagnosed with IVDD and acute cervical pain, which limits his mobility. He is currently on medication to help manage his pain and receives regular laser therapy. He will need continued veterinary care and regular monitoring to make sure his pain stays well managed.<br/><br/>Because of his condition, Duffy cannot be picked up, cannot wear a collar, and cannot use stairs. He needs a calm, safe home where his environment can be set up to accommodate his mobility restrictions and help prevent unnecessary strain or injury. He also cannot go to a home with young children.<br/><br/>Duffy is both potty trained and crate trained, and he would love nothing more than to settle into a home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and spoiled.
