What is Senior Sighthound Sanctuary, Inc.’s adoption process?

All applications are screened by the Director to determine if the adopter may be a potential family for the dog. We act on behalf of the dog & the dogs in our care will need an extra special family, considering their age and/or medical condition. Once the applicant is determined to be a potential match, a volunteer will process the application, to include contacting the applicant, contacting their references, contacting their landlord (when applicable), & contacting their vet, if they currently have any pets. After the application is processed, the Director contacts the applicant to discuss the dog's needs & will arrange a meeting with the entire family & any current pets.

What is Dudo’s adoption fee?

$850

Is Dudo good with kids?

Dudo is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Dudo good with other animals?

Dudo is good with other dogs. It is not known if Dudo is good with cats.

When can I meet Dudo?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Dudo?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
