Duchess

Duchess is a 4 yr old long hair chi. She came to rescue because her owner passed away. She is very shy and will need time to acclimate to new surroundings. <br/> She is hw negative, vacs are up to date and she is spayed and chipped. At the time of her spay, a mammary tumor was completely removed. <br/>Duchess is a somewhat shy girl who is coming around. She always has a wag of the tail for you, and enjoys small amounts of petting. Can be a rather independent girl, likes her quiet corner. She does shy away from hands coming too fast at her, but once you are petting her, she does love belly rubs. Crate trained, housebroken and we are working on leash skills. <br/> She will need a quiet home, a very patient person who will aloow her to bloom at her own pace. I would recommend a fenced yard and another dog in the home. Retired would be great. Fostered in Bradenton.
