Duchess's Story
Duchess was found in a ditch along a busy highway. She was very thin so we think she had been a stray for a few weeks. A kind person saw her and picked her up. She asked us for help to get her the veterinary care she needed, and we agreed to bring Duchess into our program. She has been in our care for a month, and now she is ready to find a wonderful home.

Duchess is a sweet girl who loves everyone she meets. She is friendly girl and is eager to please her people. She has the most beautiful eyes and learns quickly. She does very well with other dogs of any age and size. Duchess likes kids and has been with kids as young as 8.

She is 8 months old now old and weighs 21 pounds. We think shes a Lab and Cattle Dog mix. She will be a medium sized adult.

Duchess is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Duchess can arrive in Vancouver, Washington on 7/4. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.

We respond to all inquiries.
