Dublin (A563324) may look familiar because he is. He was a long stay with us back in December and after months of waiting, he finally found a home. Unfortunately, he has found himself back at the shelter again for reasons we cannot fully understand. It breaks our hearts to see him here, but we are determined to make Dublin’s next step into a forever home the one that sticks. Dublin is an affectionate dog who thrives when people are close by. He perks up the moment he sees a familiar face and comes right over as if he has been waiting all day for that moment. He truly is a good boy. During his previous stay he did well with female dogs, although he has not been tested recently. He could also use a little help with manners since he will occasionally jump on you, but it is not out of misbehavior. Dublin simply loves people and does not always know how to show it politely. He is just trying to find the right family. Someone who sees past the fact that he has already been returned and understands that sometimes good dogs end up in tough situations. Dublin deserves stability, patience and a home that knows he is worth the effort. Dublin is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 48 pounds.
