Drew~ CERTIFIED GOOD BOY!

At first glance, Drew might seem like a pretty ordinary-looking dog. He's black and white, he's got a big goofy Pit Bull smile, and he isn't the kind of dog who immediately demands attention from across the room. But spend just a few minutes with him and you'll quickly realize something important: Drew is SO much fun. Drew is an 18-month-old, 50-pound Pit Bull mix who has been waiting for someone to notice him since he came to us on August 8th. And we really can't understand how this fun-loving boy has been overlooked for so long! Drew LOVES treats. Like, REALLY loves treats. He also loves toys, and watching him light up when you bring one out is enough to make anyone smile. He's playful, silly, and just genuinely enjoyable to be around. He's the kind of dog who makes you wonder how you didn't notice him sooner. And underneath all that fun is a really, really good dog. His previous family told us he was wonderful with children. He already knows how to sit and lay down on command, and he's almost completely housebroken with only the occasional accident. Most importantly, Drew wasn't surrendered because of anything he did wrong. His family had a member who was allergic, so they simply couldn't keep him anymore. This sweet boy lost his home through absolutely no fault of his own. Maybe Drew isn't the fanciest dog in the shelter. Maybe his looks and his quiet, uncomplicated personality don't immediately make him stand out. But we think sometimes the best dogs aren't the ones who grab your attention—they're the ones who win your heart once you take the time to know them. Drew is young. He's playful. He loves toys. He will absolutely do his best to convince you that treats are the greatest invention known to mankind. And he's just a GOOD DOG.
