Dream's Story

Meet Dream

Dream is a gentle, sensitive girl searching for a patient family that will let her blossom at her own pace. While she can be timid indoors and may cower when approached, you'll see a completely different side of her once she's outside. In a securely fenced yard, Dream becomes more confident, playful, and loves to run and explore with her people.

One of Dream's most adorable quirks is her sock collection. She carefully gathers socks and carries them back to her special hiding spot-but she never chews them! Even sweeter, when she's hoping for a little extra love, she'll proudly bring you one of her treasured socks to trade for pets and affection. It's her own unique way of saying, "Will you spend some time with me?"

Dream is wonderful with cats and would thrive in a home with a calm, medium- to low-energy dog who can help build her confidence. She learns by watching other dogs and would especially benefit from a canine companion to help teach her potty routines if there isn't a doggy door.

Because she's happiest outdoors, Dream will need a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. She isn't looking for an active hiking buddy or running partner-instead, she'd be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle and is willing to give her the time and patience she needs.

Dream may take a little while to trust, but once she does, you'll discover a sweet, quirky girl with a heart full of love-and maybe a sock or two to share.
