Drax's Story

Meet Drax!

This handsome 7–8-year-old, 70lb boy has been waiting far too long for his happily-ever-after. Listed as an American Cattle Dog (though we think he’s more of an American Bully mix), Drax has been our longest Underdog — and we can’t figure out why!

Drax might not have a family yet, but he sure has plenty of love to give. He’s a big-hearted goofball who greets everyone with tail wags, slobbery kisses, and that signature smile.

Recently, Drax had a big day out at the park and Petco — and he was an absolute star! He walked beautifully on leash, politely stepped aside for others on the trail, and handled himself like a true gentleman in the store (even when another dog barked his way). He rode perfectly in the car too.

Drax adores people and thinks laps are the best place to be, no matter his size. He’s happiest when he’s with his humans and would love a family who’s around often. Crates aren’t his favorite, but training and a heavy-duty crate (provided by the rescue) will help him adjust.

Drax has done okay around other dogs, but he prefers to be the center of attention and would do best as your one-and-only.

He’s been waiting for years to finally find the family who’ll love him as much as he loves them. Could that be you?

To meet Drax, email info@theunderdogconnection.org
.
