He is currently undergoing treatment which will be covered by the rescue so he can live a long and happy life with his new forever family.<br/><br/>His foster — a certified dog trainer — says Drax is incredibly smart, eager to please, and has been working daily on his training. He already knows “heel,” has solid recall, and can stay focused even in busy public settings. He knows all basic commands and is a very good listener! Once Drax finished his heartworm treatment his foster says he would make a wonderful sport dog! Adopters must first complete a phone screen with Daisy Bean Rescue representative. They must then fill out the adoption application. After this, they must pass a veterinarian reference as well as a personal reference. A home visit is required when applicable.
