Drama's Story

First Drama almost euthanized for space at the shelter, then he was hospitalized for pneumonia for a full week. Now hes happy, healthy, and ready to find his forever home.

Drama has a mix of low energy and medium to high energy. He will demand attention or play, get the zoomies, and want to run and jump, but he tires out quickly, especially on warm days. Drama is great with people. He spent several hours at a childs birthday party and did great with kids of all ages. We recommend kids 8+ since he can get a little rowdy when playing with toys.

Drama currently lives with other dogs and a cat in foster care. He would do well with other pets or as the only pet. When meeting new dogs, he can sometimes come in hot with excitement, so slow introductions and keeping him leashed at first helps him make new friends. He usually coexists well with the cat, but has occasionally tried to chase.

Drama loves walks. He gets excited if he even thinks youre heading toward the door. He may pull at first, but his leash skills improve as the walk goes on. Drama is good in the car. He is okay in the crate, but can get a little yappy if he knows youre nearby. He sometimes sleeps in the crate, but lately has been sleeping at the foot of the bed. He is mostly housebroken, and accidents can be avoided with supervision.

Drama is affectionate and loves cuddles and scratches, but also has an independent side. He will bark to let you know what he wants. Its usually to play tug or fetch, but sometimes for help getting on the couch, or asking for food, or a walk. He loves toys and will jump, run, and even entertain himself. Drama is a goofy boy who will make you laugh

Drama has a few medical waivers, including that his penis remains out. Surgery was attempted but not successful, and the vet opted to leave it as is. It does not bother him.

Located in Fishtown, Philadelphia

Philly Rescue Angels, #18024, PO Box 5299, PA 19064
