Please limit emails asking this.<br/><br/>Drake & Josh have an unbelievable story. In the middle of December in Mississippi, a tornado hit during a bad storm. Instead of taking extra precautions for safety, someone took this as an opportunity to dump two young puppies amongst the chaos.<br/><br/>The scene was chaotic, with winds throwing everything in their way and tornado sirens loud enough to be heard for miles. Through all of this, a good Samaritan heard the cries of these puppies. They braved the weather to find them, the pup’s high-pitched, frightened cries being the only thing that saved their lives. When they were found, they were scared and had such a bad secondary infection from Demodectic mange that their eyes were almost crusted shut.<br/><br/>After this miraculous save, how could we NOT give them the second chance they deserve here in New England? The place where dogs live in our homes, sleep in our beds, get fed the best, and are seen as family and not just property or things that hang around.<br/><br/>We are so pleased with Drake & Josh’s progress; they are the sweetest boys. Aussie/Corgi Mixes from what we can tell and all clear of Demodex and ready for adoption soon. The hair is coming back more and more each day ??<br/><br/>Drake is a beautiful boy with the persnality to match. He is a natural born snugglier inside and loves to chase leaves and toys outside. He is happy to meet new people and is good with other dogs. He will make a family a very lucky one and he is lucky to have the opportunity to find his special family after all he has been through!<br/><br/>All of our puppies are crate-trained and learning basic puppy manners!<br/> <br/>When he is available, he will be 11 weeks old<br/>*Up to date on vaccines<br/>*Dewormed<br/>*Microchipped<br/>*Flea Treated<br/>*Veterinarian examined and arrived with a health certificate (this is required for interstate travel to ensure your puppy is healthy) <br/>*Examined by our Connecticut veterinarian after arrival to ensure his health <br/><br/>You will also receive his medical records, a copy of the adoption contract, and our emailed post-adoption packet, including training tips, nutrition information, socialization tips, pet insurance information, toys we recommend, etc. <br/><br/>We will have information on the food he has been eating. The supportive store where we hold our meetings carries the food, so you can purchase a bag if you wish! <br/><br/>The benefit of our organization is that you get to meet the puppy before you commit to adopting!
