Drake is a sweet, 6 year old Shih Tzu mix boy who came from some pretty rough conditions. He lost some of his eyesight before he came to us but once he gets acclimated with his new environment he does amazingly well. He's quiet, not a barker, and very laid back. He is potty trained and gets along with other dogs but is timid with assertive dogs so would be best off alone or with a similar personality. He is a bit overweight but is on a diet and currently weighs 18 lbs with a few more to go. <br/><br/>Drake is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. <br/><br/>Drake's adoption fee is $250<br/><br/>This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
