Dracula's Story
Not here to suck your blood! Just eat all your treats. This Dracula is a pretty chill guy. Anytime we pass his kennel he is curled up in a ball sleeping or just laying awake with hopeful eyes. Maybe he’s learned to conserve his energy because he sure came to us skin and bones. Dracula will happily sit for treats or lean in for cuddles (and treat bag smells). He’s a simple guy that looks great in a cape.

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

A303250
