Draco's Story

Meet Draco — polite, gentle, and quietly winning everyone over.

Draco is the kind of dog who just gets it. He’s well-mannered, observant, and carries himself with a calm, curious energy that makes him incredibly easy to have around.

During his overnight stay, Draco showed what a great companion he can be. He rides well in the car, settling in comfortably while taking in the world around him. On leash, he may pull a bit at first, but he’s already learning quickly and responds well to gentle guidance.

Draco already knows "sit," is very treat motivated, and absolutely enjoys affection—making him both fun to train and eager to bond with his people. He does have a playful side too and loves to chase squirrels, so a secure leash or fenced yard will be important.

At bedtime, Draco is crate trained. While he might let you know he’d rather be out (understandable!), he settles in nicely and keeps his space clean with no accidents.

Draco has done very well with people, including interacting gently and appropriately with a young child in the home. Around other dogs, he shows polite interest—sniffing and observing without barking or overreacting.

With a medium energy level, Draco enjoys getting out to explore but is just as happy to relax and unwind. He strikes a wonderful balance between curiosity and calm.

If you’re looking for a respectful, easygoing companion who’s already showing great manners and a willingness to learn, Draco may be the perfect fit for your home.
