Meet Draco!

Draco is a gentle, thoughtful boy who is still finding his confidence in the world. He’s a sensitive soul who observes before he acts, and with the right patient family, he will blossom into a loving, loyal companion.

What makes Draco special:

Calm and easygoing - Draco is a dog who loves to take things at his own pace. He’s easy to handle for vet exams, brushing, and general care, and he’s good with most other dogs. He’s never shown aggression toward canine friends and prefers to keep to himself, which makes him a peaceful housemate.

Food motivated (in a good way!) - While he can be shy around new people, Draco loves beef liver treats. This makes him a joy to train and a great candidate for building confidence through positive reinforcement.

Well-mannered - Draco returns to his kennel easily and is calm during handling. He knows his name and responds well to cues like “Let’s Go.”

What Draco needs:

Patience and understanding - Draco has mild anxiety and can be nervous in new situations. He may whine, shy away, or “put on the brakes” when unsure of his surroundings.
