When he came to us a year and a half ago he was very shy and took a long time to trust people. He has many people and dog friends now, and once he knows you and trusts you he is quite the snuggler. He waits patiently for that perfect person to come take him home. He is a very reasonable guy, will walk calmly on lead, and isn’t much of a crooner. Dr. Pepper loves to be stroked on his head and face-- of course he enjoys body rubs too. He plays with the toys in his room and kennel. Dr. Pepper regularly goes to daycare at Camp Merricks and enjoys running around with other dog friends. He LOVES to play with other dogs. And often doesn't want to return to the shelter.
