Dozer's Story
Say hello to Dozer. This beautiful boy did not have the easiest start to life, having been rescued from a hoarding situation with multiple other dogs. Now that he is out of that situation, he is learning how to decompress and to trust again.

One thing that has helped Dozer open up is being in playgroup with other dogs. He was nervous at first, but quickly realized that playgroup is a fun, safe space where he can exist and be himself in the company of other friendly dogs. He is still slow to open up to humans, but has made strides with our staff and volunteers as we show him kindness, patience, and consistency.

Dozer needs a loving home to show him that having a family is not a scary thing- it's the best thing a dog can ask for. If your home and heart have the space for a boy like him, come visit SPCA Cincinnati today.
